Dr. John's Lawn Prescription LLC, located in South Texas (Lower Rio Grande Valley), specializes in lawn and landscape healthcare. We provide a variety of treatment options for our Residential and Commercial Clients to prevent lawn deterioration and treat diseased or insect damaged lawns back to full health.
We achieve our goals through a scientifically developed plant and soil nutritional program designed for the unique soils in the Rio Grande Valley. Our aim is to increase the overall health of your lawn and landscape.
Our History
Dr. John's Lawn Prescription LLC was founded as a Sole Proprietor Company in 2011. In 2016 the company reorganized and became a Solely Owned, Limited Liability Company (LLC.)
Dr. John Lightner, Ph.D. Founded the Company. He holds both Masters and Doctorate of Philosophy degrees from Purdue University, specializing in plant nutrition and soil fertility. Dr Lightner has 40-plus years of experience in plant and soil health, and plant protection.
